Although there is no broken wire rope, wire rope wear up to 40% of its diameter, or the wire rope relative to the nominal diameter decreases by 7% or more, or the wire rope is obviously bent, etc. The wire rope loses its normal shape, resulting in deformities, such as wave, cage distortion, rope strand extrusion, steel wire extrusion, local rope diameter larger, kinking, local small rope diameter, part of the flattening, bending; When the wire rope diameter is subjected to special thermal action, recognizable color appears on the outside.

In order to ensure the safe operation of the tower crane, the tower crane equipment should be repaired regularly during operation and daily maintenance should be carried out. Disassemble and clean gear of reducer, adjust tooth side clearance; Clean the open transmission gear, apply grease after adjustment; Inspect and adjust the rotary support device; Check and adjust brakes and safety devices; Check the wear condition of hook, pulley and wire rope, adjust, repair and change if necessary. Carry out various work of minor repair; Repair or change the damaged parts of each coupling; Repair or replace brake tiles; Replace wire rope, pulley, etc. Check the connection bolts of the rotary support part and replace them if necessary. Note: replace them with high-strength bolts; Rust removal and painting. To carry out minor and moderate repairs; Repair or replace brake wheel, brake, etc. Repair or replace the reducer assembly; Repair or replace the rotary support assembly.
